This piece was made when My Mother was near death...she is and was my Angel....I used bible pages to cut out for the wings and place them one by one....her dress is a used fabric sheet that I added glue to and made the folds, after it dried, I added color. Her collar is a folded yellow page phonebook...one of my favs to use for papers....Mom loved this piece...I hope you do. This was made with papers, soft pastels, and glitter ink. From my sketchbook series I kept when My Mom was ill. I will continue to work out ideas and paintings with this book...it is very special to me.

Angels are everywhere...you just have to look...

Hi Suzi, I am so sorry about your mom. What a difficult time you must be going through...no matter how prepared we try to be, such a loss like this is never imaginable. I will keep you on my heart.
