That is the only one you have the power to change.
That is the only one your angels will be walking today.

This angel was created using some new techniques I am trying. Over the next 4 weeks I will be experimenting a lot and posting what I am doing. I am taking an acrylic painting class and it is all about what can be down with acrylics and trying all sorts of things. I need to create six painting this week outside of class, each painting uses different techniques we tried in class Wednesday evening. Everyone is really excited about this class and it should be pretty special! I had to buy a ton of supplies yesterday and felt like a kid in a giant toy store. I have not tried all the mediums that can be used, so this will be a magical experience for me...one that I will continue after class is over.
Sounds fun! Will be interesting to see what all you create!

Lovely painting ~ I want to rub my fingers over all that great texture ; ) !
ReplyDeleteOh love your angel! I use this technique in some of my older abstract art. If you buy some gold paint and use a technique called dry brushing.
ReplyDeleteGentle dry brush the slightest of gold paint over the top of the bumps in your art where you wish it to show, you get touches of gold. Like magic.
Blueberries are expensive, I was lucky and bought one get one free the other day, so thought I will buy some while it is low. Your juice sounds just as good. I am going to look for blueberry juice it sounds lovely!
Thank you so much for your message.
A BIG SMILE FOR YOU:)

Your angel is lovely - I love her crimson robe - have fun in your new class - cheers Val
ReplyDeleteHi Suzi, I cannot say they are my own idea, Mark my hubby as been an artist for so many years and he taught me. Mark taught me how to use photoshop, paint dark to light, shading. I paint more highly detailed than he does now and Mark paints buildings and perspective art. He is so intelligent an avid reader and full of information. I am a dreamer, Mark is a library.
ReplyDeleteMy cover is blown, boo, hoo!
Have a great weekend!
