Flower Girl

I really like how the colors turned out in this 8" x 8" acrylic painting. I am trying new things with the colors, something I have not done and enjoy the results. Of course, she had to have her nail polish match her lipstick. Just like me, I love to wear red!! Who do you think she is offering her purple flower to??

    I really love the colors on this one--so vibrant! I think she is giving the purple flower to her mother because she just realized she was being a very impossible teenager! The secret box is very pretty too.

    I love her expression. I think she is bringing that flower home to her grandmother.
    They were bickering before she went out for a walk. The walk cleared her mind and reminded her of how much Grandma means to her.

    Isn't it cool how we can make up stories when we see a piece of art! I love all the interpretations! Oh My Gawd, What a great book idea...each artist does a piece of art and the other artists have to write short stories for the pieces!!! Then it is all put in an art book, HummMMm....
