    Mine was the opposite. Last March someone asked me if I was an artist like my husband. When I said "no," I distinctly heard the voice within saying: "Stop lying to yourself!" I started painting the next day (I never had had the courage before) and can't believe the journey I am on now... Hugs, Silke

    I have to agree a little with Silke :) When people refer to me as an artist I get all red in the face and say, 'oh I don't know that I'd call myself that, I mostly dabble in stuff'

    Geez, I need to own up to all the paints and brushes and accept what I am (or at least what I'm trying to be) See? It just continues! LOL

    That is so true...you can talk yourself out of doing a project...but once you start, it just flows....... Yeah, listen to that voice !
